Nicholas Sparks: Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth had ‘magic’ on ‘The Last Song’

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth‘s reconciliation has everyone talking – but perhaps no one has more insight into the pair’s relationship than Nicholas Sparks.

Cyrus, 23, and Hemsworth, 26, first met while filming the romantic drama, which was inspired by Sparks’ 2009 novel of the same name. Things are now said to be firmly back on track, with both realising they are ideal for each other and deciding there is no point in taking things slowly. Nicholas said of Cyrus and Hemsworth in the new interview. “Really great to know that, you know, even after the breakup they remained friends”.

The author continued, “Liam was unknown [at the time]”.

The Mirror UK notes that Liam Hemsworth’s family, including big brother Chris, was not as supportive the first time around since they believed the two to be too young (Miley was 19 at the time, and Chris only at 22).

She is reportedly “fantasizing about their wedding”, and is doing the best she can to make Liam Hemsworth happy.

“She says she’s always loved Liam and always will”, a source told Us, “She never really got over Liam”. “Miley wants to start trying to have a baby as soon as they are married, if not before”. Is the same pattern recurring now, despite the years that have passed between the two love birds? “Liam is having it designed and it could end up costing over $1 million”. And once that’s sorted, there’ll be nothing stopping them. They apparently spent New Year’s Eve together as well.
