Nick Diaz Offers His Thoughts on Conor McGregor’s Plans For Lightweight Division
Pederneiras made it clear that it would be unfair if Aldo did not get a rematch against the Irishman, especially if Ronda Rousey were to be given another opportunity to regain the bantamweight title she lost to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne last month.
Speaking on his podcast, Let’s Get It On, legendary MMA referee Big John McCarthy spoke about what he picked up from both Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo prior to their 13-second fight at UFC 194.
“I tell you what, there’s not a man alive that can beat me”, McGregor said.
“This is my division and I aim to keep it that way”.
Nate Diaz wants to welcome Conor McGregor to the UFC’s lightweight division, and how does his older brother Nick think the latter will do?
Dos Anjos is now on an five-year win streak in the UFC, and would arguably provide The Notorious with the toughest contest of the current challengers, however, McGregor’s mind games may have given him the mental edge already.
Diaz, on the other hand, went on a profanity-laced rant during his own interview with Rogan in the Octagon, in a fight that was broadcasted on American national television through FOX Sports.
“If you’re going to look and say ‘who wanted to be there more?’ it actually seemed like Conor was happy to be there, where Jose it seemed like it was just another day”. Maybe he can come back from the dead, I don’t know.
McGregor’s tweeted response was: “Line them up on their knees with their hands out”.
Dos Anjos posted the quote accompanied by the caption: “Now he wants me to beg???”
