Nicki Minaj responds heavily to Remy Ma’s diss tracks with three songs
In the years following, she sat on her throne unchallenged. You can listen to the song right here!
Nicki Minaj has responded to Remy Ma’s harsh diss track in a new song featuring her label mates Drake and Lil Wayne.
On Nicki’s new anthem, she does not hold back on dealing with heartbreak.
The track is one of three new singles the Young Money femcee released on Thursday night. “No Frauds” feels destined for the same.
Nas had NOTHING to do with Remy Ma’s diss track being yanked from the airwaves, and we’re told the rapper’s pointing the finger at one giant culprit – Universal Music Publishing. From there, the two traded many songs insulting each other, such as Nas’ “F– Jay Z” and “Ether, along with Jay Z’s “Supa Ugly”.
In a separate Instagram message about the single, Nicki writes, “When a man loses us, he loses so much more”.
If the whole Nicki Minaj/Remy Ma beef has proven anything, it’s that quality is inversely proportional to quantity.
The 34-year-old rapper covered her modesty with a diamond-shaped nipple pastie as she bared one of her ample assets in a perilously plunging button down Mugler top.
Meanwhile, another verse has some wondering if Nicki slyly confirmed Safaree‘s allegations that she cheated on him with Meek, Dancehall Hip Hop reports. She ducked baseless insinuations that she wanted to scrap with Nicki and also Iggy Azalea. Her last mention on the chart came in 1998. The b**ch gambled her career. They are, at best, rubbernecking past the garishness of the spectacle.
She continues by questioning her challenger. She knows this, and she has expressed resentment for it.
Although “No Frauds” has some decent punchlines, it’s easy to question whether Nicki Minaj’s Remy Ma response is a classic case of too little too late.
“No Frauds” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne is (you guessed it) on Tidal and iTunes as well, and also on Spotify.
Nicki’s strategy is quite a savvy copout that presents a challenge for anyone expecting her to go as hard as Remy, but Nicki must be aware that trying to match bars would be a losing game.
