Nicki Minaj & Taylor Swift Bury “Bad Blood” with Surprise 2015 MTV VMAs
The music industry giants started their Twitter feud soon after the VMA nominations were announced in July when the network snubbed the rapper in the “Video of The Year” category.
Swift spends most of the video as an old-Hollywood actress shooting makeout scenes with her onscreen love (Eastwood).
No one was expecting “Wildest Dreams” to be Taylor’s next single off 1989, so we don’t expect this video to have the the same type as success as her previous singles.
Following the video’s release at the MTV video music awards on Sunday, articles were posted online voicing criticisms of the video’s colonial nature with social media users branding it racist.
Clad in a beaded fringe red number and custom Stuart Weitzman boots, Swift fiercely joined in on the chorus of Minaj’s “The Night Is Still Young” before the two ended their performance – naturally – with “Bad Blood“.

The evening closed out with an unannounced performance from host Miley Cyrus.
The pop star also found herself in the middle of the show’s biggest controversy when she was called out live on stage by rapper Nicki Minaj. “I lost this award back in 2008 and I was fine with it, whatever, because it’s no big deal”. Yes, she said, “I love you“, to Harris in front of a sold-out concert! Poking fun at their overblown beef, Minaj and Swift also performed a brief snippet of the latter’s Bad Blood before hugging awkwardly. “Miley, what’s good?” Cyrus seemed rattled, especially as Minaj kept yelling as Cyrus tried to claim that her comments were taken out of context.
“VMAs make some noise”, yelled the Weeknd before flames engulfed the bottom of the stage. At the end of the song, she told viewers to visit www.mileycyrusandherdeadpetz.com, where her new album, Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz was available for free.
