-S Charles Woodson, who announced Monday that he would retire after this, his 18th National Football League season, played his final home game as a Raider on Thursday night against San Diego.
The offensive play-calling failed to stretch the field with Chargers’ defensive backs Jason Verrett and Eric Weddle on the sideline.
The Raiders at one point faced a second-and-29 but picked up a first down when San Diego’s Denzel Perryman was called for an illegal hit on a defenseless receiver for a shot to Michael Crabtree.
