Nikki Bella Faces Career-Threatening Surgery

The former Divas champion opened up about the injury in an interview with E! However, Bella acknowledged that her injury could end her career.

Nikki Bella has been out of action since December due to a neck injury.

For now though, all eyes are on Nikki Bella and what the situation will be when she comes out of her surgery for that aforementioned herniated disk and broken neck.

She was just in the Royal Rumble and I was going off about how fantastic her match was and I think she’s such a breakout star. However, the question on everyone’s lips right now is, how will this affect her wrestling career?

Before the announcement was made on Monday, Nikki had only told a select group of people about her surgery. Nikki has said that she desperately hopes she’ll be able to make a return to the ring one day, but the current time is one for rest.

“We only know that when I get out of surgery on Wednesday and then basically how the bone heals Wednesday”, she explained.

While all of the Divas knew that it was “potential” that Nikki was getting the surgery, only a couple actually knew it was happening.

The injury that the Bella twin has suffered, is one so serious that surgery is the only option, despite her attempts to steer clear of one, she must have the surgery that is set to take around two hours to ensure her health and well being moving forward.

Nikki is one of the most popular Diva’s on the roster.

Update: Nikki commented on all this on her Twitter, promising to get back. “You see how leachy I am with you, still”, she adds.

Nikki tweeted, “In life we hit bumps in the road, what we do with those bumps is what makes us”.

On the leachy note, Nikki brings up a conversation she had with her therapist who asked if Nikki had talked to Cena about marriage and kids.
