Nine Lions Listed on Friday’s Injury Report
The Lions tight end injured his hamstring late in Sunday’s loss at San Diego.
Last week, the fantasy sports website FanDuel reported that there was concern Levy was dealing with “possible internal damage” to his hip and could face an extended absence and surgery.
Darius Slay, Caraun Reid and Larry Warford are all coming back from ankle injuries and have participated in position drills for the past three days. Both were limited in practice this week. A probable listing means it’s a virtual certainty that they play.
Stafford has had full practice all week since injuring his arm on Sunday.
Slay and Tate were limited through the week. Because C John Sullivan is on the injury/expected to return list, the Vikings have an opening on their 53-man roster.
It was a low point for Minnesota’s offense, and particularly its offensive line, which vows to be better in Sunday’s home opener at TCF Bank Stadium. Hell keep that role until Whitehead or someone else outplays him. Tailgating can not start before 7 a.m. or more than six hours before the kickoff, and it must end four hours after the game and no later than midnight. Lewis had a dozen, Whitehead had 20.
“I haven’t seen too many coaches that give great detailed information in terms of accurate information on different issues that pop up with players”, he said. And often times, it just kind of depends on the package in which were using. “But they’re a physical team”.
Caldwell has remained steadfast in not discussing players’ injuries or how they occurred.
Levy’s injury is listed on past league reports simply as “hip”.
I dont address rumors and those kind of things, innuendo.
Then Caldwell approached reporters during practice asking where the report came from (even though he was clearly aware) and if we knew the background of the guy who wrote it. The Lions aren’t expecting his injury to be a long-term situation, however.
Levy has not practiced since August 25.
Joe Panos, Levy’s agent, said there is no truth to the parasite report.
The National Football League can fine teams who lie on injury reports.
