Nintendo NX shrouded in Rumors, possible Details in January
The Nintendo NX is probably the biggest mystery in the console world these days.
More information is now expected to arrive in January, as Nintendo plan to showcase the new device behind closed doors at CES 2016. The console’s appearance, however, will not be to the public but rather to a limited and select group of people only. The presentation invite has been allegedly sent out to third-party gaming companies to show the power and capacity of the NX, so it is most likely that the pre-ordering schedule will be confirmed there as well.
Nintendo’s latest console is the Nintendo Wii U, which comes with a game pad that has its own 6.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD touch screen on the controller.
As 2016 draws closer, Nintendo fans look forward to getting an announcement on the Nintendo NX. Nintendo’s upcoming console will apparently pack similar hardware to both new-gen consoles – the PS4 and the Xbox One. This rumor seems to be in line with what a Nintendo employee said in a recent interview.
The source also provided information regarding the Nintendo NX’s power. Although he remained tight-lipped about the Wii U’s successor, he did make a general statement about Nintendo’s future products.
While speaking to Bloomberg, Nintendo designer Takashi Tezuka has stated that the company is focused on “creating things that are in sync with the times”.
The topic of the console’s price was also given some light.
This seems to contradict the latest source who spoke with Nintendo Enthusiast, who suggests that the NX will be of the same level as the Xbox One and had not been likened to any kind of hybrid platform design.
This isn’t the first rumour that’s emerged around the Nintendo NX in the past few weeks either.
