Nintendo Reveals Official Female Link, and She’s Coming to Hyrule Warrirors

From Wind Waker we’ve got Toon Link, The King of Hyrule, and Tetra, the pirate version of Zelda that is simultaneously the character’s cutest and most badass incarnation.

The original Wii U version is also going to benefit from the 3DS release, as the new playable characters will be added to it following Hyrule Warrior’s Legends release.

Linkle is a dual-wielding crossbow hunter capable of taking down enemies coming at her form all directions. She also seems to favor a color scheme evocative of Link’s shades of green, but in a cloak and hood as opposed to a tunic. And in place of a spinning sword attack, she uses what Nintendo of America’s Bill Trinnen described in the Nintendo Direct as a “spinning kick attack”.

Along with Linkle, Hyrule Warriors Legends will feature four new characters.
