Nintendo’s Virtual Console Choices Sure Are unusual
Nintendo has updated its site with a product listing for Pandora’s Tower for the Wii U. After the eShop updates on August 13, shoppers will be able to purchase a copy of the action RPG. Pandora’s Tower finally came out in the Americas the following year, in 2013, as a joint localization between Nintendo and XSEED Games.
In Pandora’s Tower, players guide Aeron through thirteen towers to break a curse on his loved one, Elena.
All three of the Operation Rainfall titles are rock solid choices for fans of JRPGs that want something a little different.
If it is a success, maybe we’ll see more worthy games like The Last Story or even Xenoblade Chronicles follow in its path. Be sure to check it out.
Like with all Wii games on the Wii U Virtual Console, Pandora’s Tower will be launching for $20 ($25 if you live in Canada). It’s not what you might expect – the new release isn’t Mario, nor is it Zelda.
The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos.
Digital versions of the 3DS retail games Garfield Kart and Paddington: Adventures in London are also available as part of this week’s eShop lineup. Fearless Tank Hero additionally launches this week from publisher Natsume and Guilty Gear series developer Arc System Works.
