Nitish to re-start his janata darbar from February 1
A man was arrested on Thursday for hurling a shoe at Indian Chief Minister (CM) of Bihar, Nitesh Kumar. “So far he has told the police that he is unhappy with the education system in Bihar and to vent his anger, he hurled the shoe”.
Nitish Kumar however continued with the programme despite the incident.
A police official reportedly said that a shoe was thrown at the CM when he reiterated that liquor ban would come into effect in the state on April 1. Rai hails from Samastipur district and initial questioning revealed that he was angry for non-redressal of his complaint. The former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupendra Singh Hooda was present on the dais. At a latter stage it would go on banning Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in stages. The man identified as Pravesh Kumar Rai was later arrested, said Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj.
Most of these professionals are likely to be from his old team which had successfully handled Mr Kumar’s campaign during the Assembly election past year.
