Nitish To Take Oath As Bihar CM On November 20
Nitish was speaking to the media after he met the Governor to stake a claim to form the new government.
According to JD-U leaders, Nitish Kumar will take oath as chief minister on November 20 along with a 36-member council of ministers. Also, a day after suggesting a Bihar-type grand alliance in Uttar Pradesh, that will hold Assembly polls in 2017, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday appeared to rule out the possibility of a tieup between his Samajwadi Party and Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has also confirmed that he will be attending the ceremony.
The RJD emerged as the single largest party with 80 assembly seats, followed by the JD-U with 71 and the Congress with 27 seats.
Kumar has invited his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee also for the ceremony and she too has agreed to attend it.

The actor-turned-politician, who had been sulking after he was left out of the Bihar Assembly election campaign, said it was because of the “aggressive campaigning” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that BJP fetched 53 seats.
The Bihar Chief Minister had strongly supported the AAP government in its confrontations with the Centre on a range of issues.

Senior JD(U) leaders like former minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh and outgoing Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary visited 7, Circular Road, where Kumar stays.
“Life goes on. Choro kal ki baatein Kal ki baat puraani naye dhang se likhenge hum mil kar nayi kahani, hum Hindustani Jai Bihar, Jai Bharat”, he said in another tweet.
