No Difference In Emissions Levels During Testing — BMW

The Jetta and Passat exhibited NOx emissions between five and 35 times beyond the prescribed limit in the US. The model is manufactured exclusively in Spartanburg County. BMW indicated that it is not familiar with the details of the claimed road test, and that there are no systems in its cars that respond differently on the road than in testing conditions.

However, BMW stated that it does not manipulate any emission test and follows all legal requirements in every country.
