No Man’s Sky “Day Zero” update suggests deleting early save games
“No Man’s Sky” is set to be released in North America on august 9 for PlayStation 4 and on august 12 for PC. The changes are so involved that players who have gotten their hands on an early copy will have to delete their saves to see them all.
The full list was posted on the Hello Games website but studio head and creative director Sean Murray, who warned against reading the entire patch notes if players wanted to go into the anticipated game completely fresh and spoiler-free.
Murray said that on Sunday, Aug. 7, the servers will begin to be wiped out.
As for the inclusions in the update, Murray said that they are now exerting a lot of effort to feature “the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters”.
The patch notes mention that a new “paths” system will be put into place, which will take into account early decisions made in the game and impact what you will see later down the line.
