No winning ticket Saturday’s Lotto 6-49 draw

Someone in Quebec is $55 million dollars richer today.

On Saturday night, the Lotto 6/49 jackpot is $35 million, with an additional $1-million prize.

This is the second largest jackpot in Canadian lottery history.

The jackpot for next Friday’s Lotto Max draw on July 24th will be approximately $30-million. Instead of 9 p.m., people who want to test their luck playing Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, Ontario 49, Lottario and Encore can purchase tickets until 10:30 p.m. In April 2015, a mysterious $50-million victor from Langley famously didn’t come forward until days before the one-year claim deadline – potentially missing out on $900,000 in interest. And two MaxMillions tickets worth $500,000 were sold in the Owen Sound region and Kingston.
