Nokia goes retro with new-look 3310 mobile phones
Nokia themselves calling Nokia 3310 as the mother of all phones.The much-awaited Nokia 3310 has finally made a comeback at Mobile World CCongress 2017 in Barcelona on Yesterday.
As expected and many wished, Nokia launched two new smartphones and one feature phone, as it started its next chapter. The company has also included its iconic snake game with a twist. This means users can expect prompt monthly security updates, quick upgrades to new versions of Android and Google’s AI Assistant baked-in – just like the LG G6 and newly-announced Moto G5 and G5 Plus.
The company said the device, which will not have internet connectivity, will cost 49 euro (£41) and is aimed at those looking for a second or so-called “burner” phone to make calls and send texts. Furthermore, the new Nokia 3310 will come in Warm Red and Yellow colors both with a gloss finish and in Dark Blue and Grey colors both with a matte finish. He said “one more thing”, that he forgot to say about the re- release of Nokia 3310. Now Nokia has announced to launch New Nokia Smartphones today in a live event.
The handset features 2-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and no front camera. It comes with battery that offers up to 22 hours of talktime and standby that would last a month.
Remember Snake, that simple four button game that used to be an addictive time sink, well it is back. Under the hood is 2650mAh battery life. It comes with 16MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It features a 5.5 inch full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip, has a 3 GB RAM capacity and 32 GB of internal storage. The rebooted version is likely to create a nostalgic feeling among fans and experts opine that Nokia is likely to capture 5 percent share in the smartphone industry.
