Nokia Unveils New Look 3310

Priced at €49 (£41) the phone has a release date set for the second quarter of 2017.

Mobile World Congress launches are coming thick and fast, with the latest deployment of new smartphones coming courtesy of Nokia.
It’s unclear, however, whether it’ll launch outside Europe. But HMD, which licenses the Nokia brand name and creates mobile devices, also unveiled three Android smartphones on Sunday.
The MWC 2017 starts in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2. So even if you don’t plan on buying the upcoming new Nokia 3310, you still have a chance to play it. The phone will be available in Warm Red (gloss), Dark Blue (matte), Yellow (gloss) and Gray (matte) color variants.
The 17-year-old 3310 is likely responsible for introducing everyone to T9 Texting – where you input letters using a dialpad, not a keyboard – and “Snake”. It has a 2.4-inch display and a single camera, which is restricted to two megapixels.
As for the battery life, at the time Nokia stated its standard NiMH battery offered “4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and up to 260 hours of standby time”. So, this time Nokia is back with updated model of always wanted and most demanded phone in the world Nokia 3310.
Conventionally, one can hardly talk much about a feature phone and its specifications but when it comes to the legendary Nokia 3310 there is no falling short of words.
Other than Nokia 3, the company will also reveal Nokia 5 at MWC.
The new 3310 iteration is also expected to be skinnier and lighter than the 2000 version.
The Seattle-area company in May sold HMD Global the rights to make Nokia feature phones like the 3310 that lack smartphone-like capabilities, for $350 million.
