North Carolina Gov. McCrory in minor crash after Super Bowl
Pat McCrory sustained no major injuries after the vehicle he was riding in was rear-ended shortly after the Super Bowl ended at Levi’s Stadium.
If the Panthers should lose, McCrory has offered to donate 50 cases of turkey burgers and turkey sausages, provided by North Carolina-based Butterball, LLC, to a Colorado food bank. He said he will also donate of dog food to an animal shelter in Colorado.
50 Osprey back packs filled with school supplies, and will add a dog food donation as well.
He was hurt, but not seriously, his office said in a statement.
McCrory said in a release that he’s looking for a big win for the Panthers.
“The Carolina Panthers are certainly a formidable foe, but they will simply be another challenge that our Broncos will overcome in Super Bowl 50”.
So is McCrory subtly indicating that Boston – who played for UNC and joined the Panthers in 2014 – is his favorite player on the team? “I truly believe this was a contest between the two best teams in the National Football League”.
While Governor McCrory only suffered minor pain from the accident, he was able to continue to his destination in another vehicle. “This was definitely a remarkable a season for our hometown team”, he said.
