North Korea erects launch pad for long-range rocket

As North Korea considered deal as start of incursion, having own nuclear program rejected negotiating with such deal.

The DPRK’s Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said in a statement, carried Sunday by the state-run KCNA news agency, that the South Korea was seeking to make a political use of the dialogue offer.

In May, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that the US, South Korea and other members of a forum that had previously tried to persuade Pyongyang to denuclearize-China, Russian Federation and Japan-were coordinated in their attempts to engage the country in preliminary talks.

Under United Nations regulations, North Korea is banned from conducting ballistic missile tests but the country has a track record of defying worldwide norms.

The hackers had used leaked technology from Italian firm Hacking Team in order to transmit malicious codes into South Korea’s Internet.

A representative of South Korean firms with factories at the Kaesong Industrial Complex has called for a prompt resolution to the ongoing wage dispute between North and South Korea.

A Hauri spokesman said that through the most recent cyberattack North Korean hackers have gained a notch in their capabilities.

Both Iran and North Korea, allies since Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution, have been subjected to tough economic sanctions over their controversial nuclear programmes.

The Unification Ministry on Wednesday approved a civic group’s request to visit to North Korea the following day to discuss preparations for an event marking the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese occupation.
