North Korea sends diplomats to claim leader’s brother’s body

Selangor state police chief Abdul Samah Mat said earlier on Saturday authorities raided an apartment in an upscale Kuala Lumpur suburb earlier this week in connection with the killing, and were checking for any traces of chemicals in the apartment.
Lawyer Sankara Nair said that diplomats have immunity privileges even in criminal cases.
Malaysia authorities are searching for a further seven North Korean nationals they suspect of involvement in Kim’s murder, four of whom fled Malaysia the day of the murder and are reputed to be in North Korea.
Asked if the North Korean will be charged, Mr Apandi said it depends on the outcome of investigations.
Two other suspects are affiliated with Pyongyang’s Foreign Ministry, one of the politicians alleged.
Kim, who died aged 45, was the eldest son and onetime apparent heir to North Korea’s late leader Kim Jong Il.
