Norwich City sign Hull winger Robbie Brady
Republic of Ireland winger Robbie Brady has completed his move from Hull City to Norwich.
Norwich City have been linked with the former Manchester United player for weeks but have had multiple bids turned down, with one £3 million bid being called “embarrassing” by Hull boss Steve Bruce. “If I can pick up and learn things with him that can only improve my game”.
In that same interview Bruce also confirmed Wilson Palacios and Ryan Taylor are training with us and the pair he worked with at Wigan, Birmingham as well in Palacios’ case, are keen to work with him again – they’ll do this if they prove themselves.
The 23-year-old agreed a three year deal on Wednesday for an undisclosed fee after finally cutting his ties with the relegated Tigers. Login using you Facebook, Twitter, Google or LinkedIn accounts and have your say!
Brady and Wisdom are Neil’s third and fourth signings since Norwich gained promotion and follow the arrivals of Scotland midfielder Graham Dorrans, 28, from West Brom, for a reported fee of £3million and DR Congo midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu (28), on a free transfer. I envisage that deal to go through.
“I’m absolutely buzzing; it dragged on for a bit but I’m glad it’s over the line now and I can’t wait to get started”, he told the Norwich club website.
After securing his services, Neil said: “I’m really pleased to sign Robbie”.
Brady could make his debut for his new club in a friendly against Brentford on Saturday.
“And he is a good player, and we wish him the best of luck”.
