Norwich have £7m bid accepted for midfielder
Bruce has confirmed a deal has been agreed with Chesterfield for former Leicester man Clucas whereas our ex-Man United youngster Brady is finally poised for Norwich with a £7m agreed, this has had far less “confirmation” given though.
Brady is not expected to travel with the Hull squad to Austria on Saturday morning, staying behind to complete the move, the Hull newspaper reported.
The 23-year-old is instead said to be making his way to Norfolk to complete the transfer.
Hull have been reluctant to sell off their prized assets as they look to plot their immediate return to the Premier League, but Norwich have kept the pressure up and landed their man. “That’s ridiculous for someone who is 23, has played two years in the Premier League and has become a regular worldwide”.
Brady joined the Tigers in January 2013 on a permanent deal having previously been on loan at the KC Stadium twice.
The Canaries’ initial approaches for the midfielder were rejected, with Tigers boss Steve Bruce branding Alex Neil’s club’s valuation of the player as “embarrassing”.
The £7 million fee could prove to be a bargain for the left-back who can play anywhere down the left-side of the field.
