Nos starts pre-sales of Huawei P10
Huawei P10 lite is now official, after a series of full-blown leaks and retailers’ listings.
Last month, the alleged Huawei P10 Lite was spotted on Geekbench website, revealing some details about the handset, including its existence. Reservations were then announced by European retailers too.
Both devices will be available to pre-order at Huawei stores nationwide from 17-26 March before being officially released on 31 March. It retails for £299, which is about $370. Sixteen R&D centres have been set up in the United States, Germany, Sweden, Russia, India, and China. Nonetheless, it will surely launch in the UK (United Kingdom) on March 29.
The company is focusing on marketing the phones in Europe, and the “P10” costs about €649, while the “P10 Plus” is priced at about €799.
Both phones have a Leica-branded dual camera system which consists of a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, as well as a 12-megapixel sensor for colours.
This isn’t actually the first time we’ve seen the P10 Lite. The P10 is likely to sell for around £550 so it is almost more than half the price with a similar feature set. Here, we detail the Huawei P10’s United Kingdom release date, pricing, design, features and spec. That should be March 31, a date which is pretty much close the P9’s debut in April a year ago.
Both screens are bright and attractive, but if you’re a display enthusiast (or you want to use a headset like Google Cardboard), there’s only one choice: the P10 Plus.
The device runs on Android 7.0 and has a Huawei Kirin 960 quad-core processor inside. The front camera can also identify whether someone is taking either a solo selfie or a group selfie and adjusts the angle of the lens so the photo can be taken without having to awkwardly adjust your outstretched hand. In the memory department, the P10 Lite is listed to include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, which is to be expected from an upper mid-range handset launching in 2017.
A high capacity 3,200mAh battery is included as standard and this supports Huawei SuperCharge technology for fast and safe charging. The phone will ship with Android Nougat off the bat, along with the latest version of EMUI 5.1, tagging all of Huawei’s proprietary EMUI features such as knuckle gestures, Power Saver 5.0, and more.
