Hopefully the third time is the charm for Phoenix Suns center Alex Len and the Las Vegas Summer League.
Goodwin, 20, is a two-year guard with 93 appearances for the Suns. Goodwin appeared in the Suns’ last 23 games, including starts in the final two games. Rudd scores fairly efficiently as he posted a 53.5 true shooting percentage in the D-League this past season per RealGM stats. On the basis of their three-game preliminary round (between July 10-14), the teams will be seeded 1-24 for a single elimination tournament to be played from July 15 to 16. He posted averages of 12.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per 36 minutes.

Where has he been recently: After going undrafted in the 2014 National Basteball Association Draft, Rudd spent the year with the 87ers where he played a fair amount. He had been with New Orleans and Utah previously on 10-day contracts but never entered a game. He remains the only player in VCU history to rank in the top-20 in scoring (15 – 1,438 points) and top-10 in rebounds (3 – 895), blocks (6 – 123) and steals (8 – 160).
Wear has played in each of Detroit’s first two Orlando Summer League contests, making one start.
Players to watch: Stanley Johnson has been dynamite for the Pistons, showing why Stan Van Gundy took him eighth overall. Harangody was traded that season to Cleveland, where he made 42 appearances over the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. The seven-foot native of Dakar, Senegal, ranked second in the A-10 in both rebounding and blocked shots (2.6 per game).
McConnell, 26, is a Mesa Dobson High School graduate who played professionally with Telekom Baskets Bonn last season in Germany. He finished with 251 treys in his career, which ranks second-most in program history. In the loss to the Spurs, Railey had 3 points and a rebound in five-and-a-half minutes of action.
