Notorious BIG remembered 20 years on
On March 9, 2017, the internet was set ablaze with scores of tweets, tributes, and memories about the man who was taken from the game and this earthly plain 20 years ago.

Wallace was just 24 years old when he was gunned down and killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997.
If anyone answers anything other than “Juicy” here, it’s time to stop listening to hip-hop. It had only recently made the jump out of NY and across the coast to LA.
The Notorious BIG has been remembered by his wife Faith Evans and Sean “Diddy” Combs 20 years after the rapper’s death. A rivalry that became lethal and resulted in the drive by shooting.

After Biggie’s death, police replaced the bullet holes on the passenger side before selling the vehicle. Central to this theory is the unproven claim that Diddy was somehow involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur six months earlier.
He died in hospital on September 13. The case remains unsolved. His second record, Life After Death, was released shortly after his passing and topped the Billboard 200 charts.
Theories around the shooting – now a part of hip hop lore – have reemerged in one form or another over the years as journalists and fans attempted to tackle the case.
