Oakland Raiders Player Asks Aly Raisman Out On Date
Gymnast Aly Raisman got asked out on a date by an National Football League player after she got home from the Rio Olympics.
Yes, we’d call this a touchdown!
“I was just asking a girl on a date”, Underwood said Tuesday, via The Mercury News. If U.S. women were competing as their own country, they would have placed third overall. She quickly accepted. Although I’m a little jealous, I’m happy for Underwood and Raisman.
She also says in the clip she would prefer someone who is athletic because then she can work out with her potential partner. Aly pretty much sealed the deal, confirming that the date would indeed happen by revealing she was “looking forward” to “meeting” him!
How did Raisman handle being asked out in very public fashion? My roommates, my teammates, everybody here is super proud of you.
In the video, Underwood, 24, congratulated Raisman, 22, on bringing home the hardware.
On Sunday, Raisman took to Twitter to thank Underwood for the video.
Anytime! Looking forward to meeting you too. Safe travels back, see you soon!’ Maybe he’ll even “come to the show”, she said, when the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions swings through town in September.
However, in the same video segment for Yahoo!, Aly said she is unsure about having a long-distance relationship. For example, after Simone Biles won five medals at the Olympics, her long-time crush, actor Zac Efron, flew down to meet the team (and give Biles a Snapchat-worthy kiss on the cheek).
