Obama, Clinton making first joint campaign appearance

“The system is rigged”, said the Republican, who was also taking his campaign to the swing state of North Carolina with an event planned in Raleigh Tuesday evening. For four years, Obama trusted her to circle the globe representing his foreign policy.

But Obama’s debut appearance on the 2016 campaign trail, while it showcased his trademark oratory and communication skills, was overshadowed by the extraordinary announcement hours earlier in Washington. Ross told a crowd Tuesday at the Charlotte Convention Center that North Carolina is on the national map and will be painted Democrat-blue in November.
