Obama escapes press to ‘get to Star Wars’
A Star Wars Stormtrooper gives a thumbs up as he leaves the news briefing room at the White House.
The clueless president ended his last press conference of 2015 by telling reporters who were still asking important questions that he had to go because he was going to catch Star Wars. Even President Obama is excited to watch it right away.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest also made an appearance later in the briefing room alongside a pair of Star Wars Stormtroopers and the droid R2-D2.
“OK, everybody, I gotta get to Star Wars”, he said on Friday afternoon.
The White House is holding a screening today of “The Force Awakens” for members of Gold Star Families for Peace, an organization for individuals who have lost family members in military combat. Earlier this month, Obama revealed that his favorite film of the year is Ridley Scott’s The Martian.
Everybody and their moms are going to be watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend.
“Even though most people agree that I’m being reasonable; that most people agree I’m presenting a fair deal”, Obama said while discussing a sequester.
