Obama: Hillary’s use of private email server a ‘mistake’
Obama made the comments during a “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday night, adding that he didn’t know Clinton used a home server while she was his secretary of state. He also said he was not initially aware of her use of the private email server.
“I think she’d be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly”, Obama said. There are nonetheless questions being raised concerning the safety of in that system. Their concerns have been reinforced by recent reports of attempted cyberattacks on her system in 2013 originating from China, South Korea and Germany.
Obama called the questions about Clinton’s server legitimate but said it had not endangered national security.
“President Obama is refusing to say whom he will support in the 2016 presidential election, but that’s not stopping him from pouring accolades on Vice President Biden, who is considering jumping into the race”.
‘He is tapped into something that exists in the Republican Party that’s real, ‘ Obama said.
I think that he is a great publicity seeker …
When it was pointed that his administration has prosecuted others for having classified material on their computers, Obama said he did not believe Clinton was purposefully trying to “hide something or to squirrel away information”.
Clinton served as secretary of state under Obama (2009-13). “Just as significant, most of the people really need to influence Wall Street to stay at as many as its acceptable part in our overall economy – helping out Main Street evolve and prosper”, Clinton provided in an op-ed as they introduced her new clear set of plans.
“This is one of those issues that I think is legitimate but the fact that for the last three months this is all that’s been spoken about is an indication that we’re in presidential political season”, Obama told CBS.
