Obama Read to Work With Russian Federation and Iran

He spoke ahead of rare talks with U.S. President Barack Obama as the Syrian crisis is expected to top the agenda at the United Nations in New York.
Monday’s address by Putin, who has showed up the United Nations gathering for the first time in a decade, was one of the most highly anticipated.
Speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York on Monday, he denounced ISIL but also said that there can’t be a return to the status quo under Bashar al-Assad.
It could bring a record number of world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, who hasn’t attended in years.

“But we are,” he said, “considering intensifying our work with both President Assad and with our partners in other countries”.
“Russia will not take part in any field operations on the territory of Syria or in other states; at least, we do not plan it for now”.
“We can not stand by when the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a nation is flagrantly violated,” he said.
Russia’s RIA news agency cited Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov as saying that a meeting of regional representatives with an interest in a resolution to the Syrian conflict, along with Russia and the United States, could be arranged as early as October.
