Ochocinco asks Browns’ Hue Jackson for job, slams Bengals
On Monday, Ochocinco published a series of Tweets again indicating his interest in working for Hue Jackson and the Cleveland Browns, and had an interesting response later when asked about the Bengals.
During his 11-year National Football League career Johnson was known as one of the greatest route-runners of all-time, and should be able to share that knowledge with the young group in town.
CLEVELAND- It looks as if Chad Johnson is making his way to Cleveland. He said he has talked with head coach Hue Jackson about the possibility before and how he has always wanted to coach.
Much of it came during his 10-year career with the Bengals, but boy did his career fall hard and fast. This is the same team that gambled on Manziel in the first round.
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Former Cincinnati Bengals player Chad Johnson now has his eyes on the Browns.
During halftime of a playoff game in January 2006, Johnson and Jackson reportedly got into a physical altercation. After a failed stint with the Patriots, Johnson didn’t even make it out of training camp with the Dolphins before being cut. He retired after the 2011 season with 766 receptions, 11,059 yards, 67 touchdowns, and nearly as many creative touchdown celebrations. It sounds like the Bengals are exhausted of hearing it, and it wouldn’t be too hard to believe that Marvin Lewis didn’t want him in the locker room a year ago when Johnson visited Cincinnati for the Seahawks game. All it took was a little bit of marketing and begging via Twitter and Johnson will be joining the Cleveland Browns for the 2016 season. His message should easily get across as these players grew up watching Johnson torch opposing cornerbacks throughout his career.
Chad says he will be in Cleveland on July 28th, ready to coach.
Training camp is going to be fun in 2016.
