Doctor Judith Glassgold with the American Psychological Association says it’s an issue with decades of neglect, from institutionalizing patients in the 50’s, to cutting funding for mental health in the 1980’s under President Reagan’s administration.
“By 2020, we want England to have a mental health care system that is fairly funded according to local and national need, delivering high quality mental health care, at the time and place that people need it”.
