Odell Beckham: Beckham held to 44 yards on Sunday night
J.J. Wilcox whipped out his boomstick and absolutely leveled Odell Beckham Jr. late in the first quarter of Sunday night’s game at AT&T Stadium. Beckham had just five catches for 44 yards and he is hoping for a better performance in Week 2 after his stellar rookie season in 2014. Wilcox, as Beckham Jr. tried to catch a ball in the middle of the field.
Either way, Beasley is going to get his fair share of looks, especially after reports were coming out that he was nearly unstoppable in multiple situations this offseason. Until the NFL corrects issues like this, concussions and how the league deals with them will continue to be an enormous thorn in the NFL’s side.
Reportedly, Amber Rose “is extremely into Beckham Jr.” although she understands that his main focus right now is football.
Part of the reason he didn’t miss any time was due to the play being under review for a possible fumble after the ball came loose due to the impact of Wilcox’s hit.
