Odubajo makes Hull City switch
Now in another quality addition to the ranks at Hull, it can be revealed that the Tigers have completed the signing of Moses Odubajo from Brentford.
The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the former Premier League club, who activated the release clause in his deal with the Bees.
Odubajo is a product of Leyton Orient’s youth system and made over 100 first-team appearances before Brentford paid £1million to take him to Griffin Park in June past year. It is understood that Hull are still looking to sign forward Andre Gray, but will have to pay more than the £5.5 million bid that they submitted.
He also won six England Under-20 caps at the Toulon Tournament earlier this summer.
Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen says that he wants striker Andre Gray to stay at the club despite interest from Hull City.
Gray scored 18 goals last season as Brentford reached the Championship playoffs. “We’ll see. I hope he is in my squad for the weekend”. He was brought to the club because of his undoubted talent and he has developed over the last 12 months.
