Officials identify 4 USC Upstate students killed in wreck
A candlelight vigil will be held Monday evening to honor four USC Upstate students who were killed in a crash early Sunday morning. “A real loving personality”.

USC Upstate lost four student athletes last night in a tragic vehicle accident.
“It’s a tremendous loss for our university community”, university spokeswoman Tammy Whaley told WYFF. “So many people are going through the motions, but they’re also gathering, trying to console each other”. He transferred to play at USC Upstate in January.
The wreck happened about a mile from the campus of USC Upstate, which plans a candlelight vigil Monday on campus.

“There’s no way to quantify the feelings throughout the student body right now”, he said. He was a junior at USC Upstate where he majored in physical education and served as an orientation leader, according to the university website.
Sarah Vande Berg, of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and Joshua Lee, of Glendale, were all killed in the crash.

One of the people who were taken to the hospital was pronounced dead later on Sunday. A native of Sweden, the woman has been supported by her teammates and coaches until her parents arrive.
The students died early Sunday morning when a auto ran off the road, struck a tree and caught fire, said Sgt. Bob Beres, spokesperson for South Carolina Highway Patrol. “We are reaching out to our campus community and the families that are affected by this tragedy”. “These students will forever be remembered”. “The school urged students to wear green, the school color”.
One other student died and another person was hurt. “It’s bigger than we are”. USC Upstate’s website says Sarah was focused on landing a job at Disney after graduating.
“It’s devastating”, he said. He was a very good player who battled through a tough injury for quite a while, but never lost his enthusiasm for the game or our team. “Mills was an unbelievable guy and anyone who had the opportunity to know him is truly blessed”.
A memorial service for Campbell is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Brookwood.
