OH senator to oppose Sessions nomination

Participants from over the country will be flooding their Senators phone lines to demand that if Senator Sessions refuses to agree to respect state marijuana laws, members of the Senate should refuse to confirm him as Attorney General.

However, Sessions is also at stark odds with several of his former Judiciary Committee Republican colleagues on civil asset forfeiture reform and efforts to roll back mandatory minimum sentencing laws, including Utah Sen.

This will be the second time Sessions has testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which he is now a member.
