Ohio Governor says he would ban teachers’ lounges
“Can I vote “no” twice?”
If Charles Barkley had to vote tomorrow, he’d vote for John Kasich. And, like many in her profession, she is mad.
Kasich was viewed by many as one of the winners of the first Republican presidential debate earlier this month, and he’s since seen his standing improve in polls nationally, as well as in New Hampshire, where he’s staking his campaign.
The former Philadelphia 76er added that he appreciated Kasich discussing racial inclusivity in a recent interview with CNN’s Dana Bash.
Kasich’s spokesman Rob Nichols said Kasich’s remarks were directed at those teachers who “pay attention to the small number of pot-stirrers in their ranks who try to leverage problems for political gain”.
The teachers I know are exceptionally hardworking, dedicated and professional.

John Kasich is not pro-gay rights. “The joy has been sucked out of the classroom, because everything is driven by the (state) test”.
Barkley also said that he has never voted for a Republican in a presidential election before but that he is now not impressed by the Democratic field. Only 11 said yes, and four skipped the question.
The move from March 8 to March 15 shifts Ohio from a state where delegates are essentially awarded to the winners in each congressional district to a victor take all scenario. “One-hundred percent”, he said. On the other, the governor seems to have turned from that, and he hasn’t tried to go back.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said teachers unions alienated many when leaders said parents “don’t have a clue” in making school choices for kids. “I think there’s a disservice in this country to act like they are all illegal and not law-abiding citizens”, he said.
He did consider running for Governor of Alabama after all. Even worse, one senses they had no good reason for their doing so other than right-wing pressure.
Tim Pawlenty took a little time Wednesday to remind the GOP primary electorate that, for all that “moderate” stuff they may have heard about him, he’s just as able to sound like a rightwing turd-mongler as any other Republican. A co-founder of the first Los Angeles Tea Party, Kruiser often speaks to grassroots groups around America and has had the great honor of traveling around the world entertaining U.S. troops.
RealClearPolitics’ average of national polls showed Kasich tied for seventh place on Friday with Kentucky Sen. That steadfastness could garner him favor, Cunningham said.
Cunningham’s guess? It won’t move the needle either way.
