Ohio St., Michigan classes show most star power in Big Ten

But players’ transience can also make it more hard for coaches to win on the days on which they are paid to win.

A great recruiting class is probably more about who will eventually become a star or a reliable starter than it is about finding immediate replacements.
The class is headlined by the nation’s No. 5 recruit, according to Scout, five-star defensive end Nick Bosa.
Class of 2016 defensive back/athlete Jordan Fuller (Westwood, New Jersey) has committed to Ohio State, he announced on Monday evening.
Starters like quarterback J.T. Barrett, defensive end Tyquan Lewis, offensive lineman Billy Price and cornerback Gareon Conley all were in the 2013 class. Players who are being counted on to move into the starting lineup, like tight end Marcus Baugh, linebacker Chris Worley and receiver Dontre Wilson were also in that group.
When it comes down to average star ranking, the Buckeyes move up to No. 2 overall, still behind Alabama however.
Several experts have the Ohio State class ranked as the best in the nation.
Don’t expect Ohio State to change just for the sake of change however. The only other wide receiver on the recruiting list is Binjimen Victor.
“Because you had a skinny-neck kid from New Albany that played quarterback that ended up being okay and he wasn’t ranked very high”, Meyer said.
