Ohio State Buckeyes stay at No

Check out the highlights from Week 12 of college football and where each team is ranked in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Alabama remains the No. 1 team in the selection committee’s eyes and the favorite to win the national championship.

This week, the committee went somewhere in between.

“LSU is a team that fell out of our rankings this week. People would definitely remember that team, definitely remember us”. “We spent considerable time talking about Washington at the 5 spot and believe that’s where they are at this point in the college football season, but there’s a lot to like about Washington”. In this case, it would be No. 7 Penn State. The committee continues to be impressed with their three wins over current CFP top-25 teams.

The Ohio State-Michigan clash is set for noon Saturday, then Penn State plays Michigan State at 3:30. Then, a win in Indianapolis would put MI into the playoffs. But Ohio State has its own “slash” star in Curtis Samuel, who lines up as a runner, receiver and sometimes returns punts. In that scenario, would it choose to put two Big Ten teams in and leave a 12-1 Washington, which would be the Pac-12 champions, out?

On to the rankings themselves.

The door to move up was opened on Thursday, when last week’s No. 5 team Louisville lost to Houston.

The quarterback situation adds some intrigue to a game that needs no more hype. Florida doesn’t have many negatives on its resume because of losses, but there weren’t really any valuable wins either.

Now that Harbaugh is coaching the Wolverines, how would he react if one of his players did that?

Moving down in the rankings, there are a few teams I want to highlight.

“They did fall out of our rankings, but that was still a strong win for Wisconsin”.

Kirby Hocutt: “Oklahoma State’s record is 9-2″.

“We have two weeks left in this regular season”, Hocutt said.

But, despite what’s at stake in the upcoming matchup, both teams are more focused on maintaining their ground in the rivalry. Things then would pretty much would boil down to Penn State vs. Washington. Navy has the AAC West clinched.

Just 10 years later, the two rivals will play their annual game with similar implications. Beat the Sooners, win the Big 12, and see what happens. This would put the committee in a very, very hard spot. “No”, running back Saquon Barkley said. My final four, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Wisconsin. The Utah Utes have also been ranked in every single committee ranking. Washington’s best wins would be over No. 9 Colorado and No. 22 Utah.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl is guaranteed the Big 12 champ, which would be No. 8 Oklahoma, but because SEC champ Alabama is in the semifinal, it would take the next highest-ranked SEC team, No. 13 Auburn.
