OJ Simpson deposition in wrongful death suit revealed: Ex-NFL star claimed
In that famous televised trial, Simpson evoked his right against self-incrimination by not taking the stand. Yet, in the civil trial brought against him, Simpson was forced to testify under oath for the first time on tape, answering the tough questions about his tumultuous relationship with Nicole, the murders, the shoes, the glove, the Bronco chase, and more. The retired football star and actor was found not guilty of killing Nicole, 35, his ex-wife, and her friend Ronald L. Goldman, in her Los Angeles home.
“Everybody forgot the tapes existed”, said “20/20” co-anchor Elizabeth Vargas, who presents the first look at the videos along with interviews of the principals involved in the case. The tapes, which have been once exclusively seen by legal professionals engaged on the case, have now been let go as part of a documentary referred to as OJ Speaks: The Hidden Tapes, proven by ABC News source.
“We were wrongly under the impression these deposition tapes were exclusive and had not aired before at length”, an ABC News spokesperson said in a statement.

Petrocelli: “You don’t think this picture reflects any bruising or injuries or marks on Nicole’s face?”
“At the end of Nicole’s life, I think she finally was at a place where she knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble”, Kris says.
Viewers will not only hear Simpson answer the tough questions, they will see his body language and gestures caught on camera. “I take total responsibility”, he said. “The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, ‘He’s going to kill me and he’s going to get away with it'”.
Mr Petrocelli, continuing to ask about times he had hurt her in the past, not on the night of her death, said: “You had your fingers around her throat, correct?” . “I know that like he was… he was floored that that was the verdict”.
DENISE BROWN/AP O.J. Simpson claimed that Nicole Brown Simpson wore movie “make-up” in photos that showed her battered face.
The reality-TV star and businesswoman, 59, and her late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, were close to O.J. Simpson, so much so that Simpson was even one of the groomsmen at their wedding in 1978.
Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman’s killer left a key piece of evidence at the crime scene – a men’s size 12 Bruno Magli brand shoe print stamped in the victims’ blood.
When Petrocelli presses Simpson to elaborate on why he thought they were ugly, Simpson says he didn’t like “the look of them, the style of them”.
“Those ugly-a** shoes I would never own”.
