Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant cleared to play
The Oklahoma City Thunder have Kevin Durant cleared for basketball activities in training camp and OKC is hoping that the star can stay healthy this season. He returned in December, played 27 games and then was sidelined again to remove a screw that was rubbing against another bone, which was causing pain, in February. “It’s great to have him back on the floor”, Presti said. “Looks great. Happy to have him back on the floor”. Now gearing up for another run with the Thunder before hitting unrestricted free agency next summer, Durant is getting back into the shape that made him one of the NBA’s best players.
Kevin Durant hasn’t always seen eye to eye with the media.
Trash Talking was more intense in the 90’s, but it’s nice to know that some players engage in it today as well.
Rotoworld noted that Durant might not make a comeback immediately even though he was cleared to play following team monitoring rest and recovery.
“In terms of, like, limitations, he does not have any”, Presti continued. In Durant’s 10 games against the Warriors since Green was drafted, KD is averaging 28.5 points, including a career-high 54 point outburst during his MVP season.
For a pretty long time the Wizards seemed to be the frontrunners in landing Durant if he leaves Oklahoma City, but now, the Heat are coming into the situation.
The hopeful GM exclaimed, “He feels great”.
Unless you’re Tim Duncan, being an elite player and talking trash go hand in hand. “The best way to serve the Thunder and put him in a position to be successful, those things are one in the same, and that’s what we focus on”.
Confirmed by Thunder GM Sam Presti, Kevin Durant has been Cleared To Play After Last Season’s Injury.
