Oklahoma Sooners vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys

But the thought here is that Baylor’s collection of offensive talent will enable the Bears to beat TCU in another shootout, 45-38, and win a game that was a pick’em contest for Las Vegas oddsmakers. Last week’s 30-29 near-collapse win over Texas Christian was the closest game for Stoops’s outfit this season.

OU, now 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the Big 12, can clinch the conference championship and make its case to reach the College Football Playoff final four with a win at Oklahoma State (10-1, 7-1) at 7 p.m. Saturday.

With Oklahoma’s ascent to No. 3 in the CFP, the Sooners are conference champions and looking like a safe bet to reach the playoff with a win. Despite its 10-1 record, Oklahoma State now sits behind a pair of two-loss teams in No. 9 Stanford (9-2) and No. 10 MI (9-2). Regardless of who is playing for them they’re a good football team, and we knew they would be.

The Sooners have done well against other conference teams that have pass offenses that rank in the top four in the league (Texas Tech, TCU and Baylor), although two of the three, admittedly had backup starting quarterbacks at the time OU played them.
