Olivia Culpo almost faints on Emmy pre-show

Hollywood’s A-list strutted the red carpet Sunday for the Emmy Awards, television’s top honors, showing lots of skin under the hot Los Angeles sun – and melting in the sweltering heat.

As the camera panned back to the Miss US 2012, the star could be seen crouching on the ground out of view with the hosts huddled over her.

Unfortunately, the heat got to be too much for Culpo, and Rancic wisely cut to a commercial as she was going down.

Many stars brought their own fans, handkerchiefs or began stripping down to try and cool off.

Ricky Gervais said getting out of his vehicle was like “walking into an oven” and started unbuttoning his shirt during his interview with Seacrest, threatening to go full “Simon Cowell”.

Olivia wasn’t the only one to faint from the heat; “Extra’s” Mario Lopez revealed on Instagram that he saw three people faint.

“OMG it is SO HOT out here”, she tweeted afterward.

“She’s an awesome person”, the former child star said of 23-year-old Culpo, whom he started dating in the summer of 2013. Eric Stonestreet of “Modern Family” had also mentioned how hot it was saying that he had ice packs everywhere. She then followed it up with a photo of herself, somehow still looking fabulous, sitting in a wheel chair.
