Olly Murs blunders over X Factor elimination
Monica Michael and Max Stone have been booted off the “X Factor”.
A few viewers joked that show boss Simon Cowell should fire Murs over the mistake, with one Twitter user commenting: “Has @ollyofficial been sacked yet?” We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Stone was the first one to be eliminated in this episode, since he received the lowest number of votes from the public.
“In light of what happened last night, we would like to send our thoughts and our prayers to everyone who was affected in Paris last night”.
“She’s not going home?”. You didnt have to see it you could sense it. I found that very amusing she was probably hiding at the back of the arena. I’m still learning & hope that never happens again!’ Aw.
It was clarified that two judges said they wanted to send Michael home, while the other two said they wanted to send Stephans home – meaning it was “deadlock” and would go back to the public vote.
She of course featured earlier on in the series when Cheryl Fernandez-Versini asked her to help out at Judges’ Houses.
One another user wrote: “Olly Murs and Caroline Flack are getting sacked in the morning, absolute shambles”. Rita Ora’s talent sang “Broken Hearted Girl” by Beyonce, while the “Overs” singer sang “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” by Simply Red. I noticed Harry was really quiet when he was talking to Olly he was in a world of his own. Max plans to take time to re-evaluate who he is as an artist before he re-enters the music business.
Following last week’s disaster, backing singer Anton Stephans redeemed himself with Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing. Believe in yourself, because you’ve got a hell of a voice. “You have been wonderful thank you so much!”
“If I had to vote for any contestant in the competition right now, I would vote for Reggie and Bollie“.
Meanwhile, former X Factor contestant Steve Brookstein caused outrage when he compared Olly’s on-air mistake to a doctor telling someone they have HIV.
