‘Om Shanti Om’ to be screened at Cairo worldwide Film Festival

Mumbai: Director Farah Khan has refuted reports of actresses Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra being roped in for her next film. “We captured that impromptu moment when all of them were dancing”, Farah told PTI. Shah Rukh had then told me he will get Dilip Kumar Sahab and Saira Banuji.

The film’s title song featured several Bollywood celebrities including Salman, Saif, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, Rekha, Juhi Chawla, Malaika Arora Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Arbaaz Khan.

Farah’s women-centric drama film is likely to come next year though she did not divulged into details.

Over 40 Hindi movie stars appear in the course of the film, including 30 of them in the “Deewangi deewangi” song alone. The insider adds, “There will also be performances by local dancers on songs from Farah’s films”.

“In Egypt, they love our hardcore commercial Bollywood films and I think there is no better example than Om Shanti Om”.
