One Direction get launched into space in ‘Drag Me Down’ video
One Direction train to be astronauts in their brand new video for single Drag Me Down.
Twitter has been buzzing about One Direction’s video for “Drag Me Down“.
1D trained at NASA in new music video.
Filmed at NASA Space Center in Houtson, Texas, the boys kick-off the video in orange spacesuits at the renowned site. “#DragMeDownMusicVideo the music video is more than flawless!!!! i love the idea that there is a space left for Zayn, brings tears to my eyes!!” another follower wrote.
Niall meanwhile worked on the Partial Gravity Simulator, and Harry met a human-like robot called Robonaut – a model now aboard the global Space Station.
Because guess what? One Direction is starting a new chapter, they are hurtling well past our own stratosphere – they are literally out-of-this-world – and nobody can drag them down!
Fans have also expressed their delight on social media and even compared 1D’s current video to the “I Want It That Way” release of Backstreet Boys several years ago. It goes on to show the group in training, with Niall Horan suspended from a harness while Liam Payne undergoes fitness tests on an exercise bike.
The single, which is the group’s first as a four-piece, was dropped unexpectedly on fans earlier this month and shot straight to No. 1 on iTunes in 86 countries. Reports say that “Don’t Drag Me Down” released August. 20 now holds the Spotify record for most first-day streams globally.
For fans who have yet to get over Malik’s departure from the band in March, let’s hope the NASA themed video helps those come to terms with the post-Zayn era.
