One Direction join James Corden for ‘Carpool Karaoke’

One Direction and the amusing host were very into singing together and even had some vocalizing exercises led by Corden himself.

However, we of course can’t forget the original auto karaoke that saw James’ Gavin & Stacey character Smithy singing happily along to Do They Know It’s Christmas before being joined by his pal, Gavin, who was played by Matthew Horne.

During the ride, Corden and the fellas sing “What Makes You Beautiful”, “Story of My Life”, “Best Song Ever”, “Drag Me Down”, and “Perfect“. Check it out above, and see the music video in GIF form below.

The band has decided not to support their fifth album, Made in the A.M, with a tour, instead taking a year-long break from One Direction.

After the song, whilst waiting at traffic lights, the boys are greeted by a auto full of screaming girls and Bushbury lad Payne admitted: “She’s been following me for a while that one, I’ve seen her a couple of times now”. “‘Then about an hour later a 45 woman showed up on my doorstep and was like ‘here’s the milk”‘.

We’re loving James’ attempt at rapping.

Liam replied, “Well, it’s quite a scary thing because we haven’t really stopped for five years”.

There’s also a fun little side moment with the guys from One Direction that I won’t ruin here.
