One Direction launch their new perfume, Between Us (From Basildon Recorder)

But it is Horan’s addition that clearly makes the One Direction perfume special: a single tear he extracts by ripping open an onion near his eye.

The pop band made an official video for the fragrance where they each add their own ingredient.

The perfume, called Between Us is a fusion of freesia, apricot and amber and one special ingredient – Niall Horan’s tears.

Between Us, which also includes notes of mandarin, jasmine, gardenia, patchouli and vanilla, will be available from July 20.

Named Between Us, the launch marks the first scent that the boys have released since Zayn Malik’s departure from the group.

Macy’s will carry Between Us exclusively later this year.
