One Direction’s Liam Payne Reassures Fans Over Illness
“Like I said I am feeling much better now in the company of all you handsome people”.
“Thank you so much for all the trends and lovely messages you guys did for me it really shows how incredible u(sic) guys actually are”.
Yesterday Payne sent a number of tweets saying that he was feeling much better and thanked fans for their support.
Earlier on Wednesday, Liam took to Twitter to apologise to fans, who were left disappointed after Tuesday’s cancellation.
The four-piece are performing three nights at the city’s SSE Arena as part of their On The Road Again world tour. “He wasn’t physically able to get on stage”.
Last Tuesday’s incident is the first time the boy band have canceled a concert due to sickness, and the first time that Payne has pulled out of a performance.
The Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team have been left outraged by the “cold business decision” that saw their match against Belfast Giants cancelled due to One Direction rearranging their concert at the SSE Arena, Belfast.
Not that we’re in the business of gloating here at Ginger Clam, but the stink over One Direction’s cancelled gig in Northern Ireland has proved to be just the latest steaming turd in a dungheap of headlines over the last 12 months.
1D fans are simply happy to have Liam Payne back and have been sharing their joy at the news on social media…
The source said they believed the illness had been “brewing” for a while because of the group’s uncertainty in recent weeks.
Operations director Shaun Smith said: “We are disappointed the game isn’t proceeding not only for ourselves but for the many fans who have already booked their travel, hotel and game-night tickets”. To be honest we feel kinda lucky that we got to this point and never cancelled one (concert), so obviously we’re all very disappointed… The band apologies to their fans and wish Liam well as soon as possible’.
There’s been no official word yet from the band, but we’re just glad Liam’s back.
According to the sources, the main lead of the band was unable to deliver his show as he was not “in good shape”.
