One Direction ‘to disband’ and focus on solo projects

The shocking news comes nearly five months after Zayn first announced he was leaving the band to be a “normal 22-year-old” living his life out of the spotlight.

The insider added, “This was the plan with or without Zayn”.

A slew of TV performances and spots are also lined up till the end of the year when the band members will be seen together.

One Direction are said to have made the huge decision during crunch talks in London last weekend, meaning they will not be touring their upcoming fifth album.

According to early reports, supergroup “One Direction” is putting their band’s record-breaking collaborations on hold, at least for now. Before Zayn leaving or anything.

So, here’s hoping they go the way of Ross + Rachel, and ultimately end up back together…in one direction.

According to People, the boys are going to be taking an “extended hiatus”, and there’s no word on just how long that break might last.
